Invisible Margins

Inspired by the banality of everyday objects, this collection questions the boundary between their utilitarian role and their aesthetic potential.

I wanted to explore how unnoticed fragments of architectural hardware, repurposed from their primary function and integrated into the aesthetics of the body, can reveal hidden beauty and acquire a new identity as fashion items.

All leather used is old deadstock lambskin, approximately ten years old, that has been reworked, cleaned, and polished to give it a renewed appearance. The rubber is upcycled.

Shoes feature heels made from drawer handles with metal drawer handles as toe caps, belts are detailed with rounded drawer handles and door handle rosettes, and bags transform a ventilation grill into a slip pocket.
